MATTERS ARISING FROM AGM HELD ON 29TH JUNE 2011.

No maters arising.
Minutes adopted by Michael & Rosemary McDonald.

CHAIRMANS REPORT.

Colin explained that it has been a very difficult year due to his work commitments and the lack of committee members. The main negative being was due to the lack of governance and still the non-completion of the minimum operating requirements.

Although we are still struggling with some of the paperwork SAAS is still going from strength to strength with our club on a Wednesday which has approximately 25 people per week.

Active Futures Club this is held at the Whitletts Activity Center on a Wednesday night where there are 15people some with complex need. This club is mainly run by SAC and we support where necessary in kind. At this club we have 3 coaches (1paid by the council, 1 from the Duke of Edinburgh scheme and 1 other volunteer).

The Club Diamonds which was held on a Thursday afternoon at the Citadel was cancelled due to the club having to change venue to Whitletts. The second Club Diamonds class which is held in Girvan has been running steadily on a Tuesday afternoon for the past year.

Ace Race Running this is a club that we helped to start up over eighteen months. It has slowly grown in size from two people to now having between 10 & 15 people each week. We have supported this club by helping to obtain grants to purchase bikes and help with the cost of venue hire. With our support we have seen this club develop by gaining two multi world record holders.

Ayrshire Sports Ability we mainly help this group in kind to organize a 4 day multi-sport event for 800 children all with various disabilities and complex needs.

Danceability was started in December with the help of Arrol Park to allow people the opportunity to exercise to music.

TREASURERS REPORT.

Gordon presented the accounts to the floor explaining that although we have a balance as at 31st March 2012 of £143371.43.

No matters were raised accounts were proposed by Steve Brown seconded by Jason Manning.

Gordon was thanked for his hard work as Treasurer.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS.
